GET /api/v3/account

Spot balances for the key's account. For a wallet-funded account these are the mirror of your Canton wallet holdings (see Mirror balances); for an internally-funded account they are ledger balances.

Field	Notes
canTrade	false while the mirror sync has the account frozen (orders answer -2010), otherwise true. An un-enrolled party-bound account still reports true and is rejected at order entry with -2012; check settlement.enrolled.
canWithdraw, canDeposit	Always false: there are no deposit/withdrawal endpoints on /api/v3. Wallet-funded accounts fund and withdraw by moving assets in their own Canton wallet.
updateTime	Time of this response, Unix ms (not the last balance change).
balances[]	Always the fixed list of eight assets in this order, including zero rows. Amounts are truncated (not rounded) to the asset's on-chain precision and serialized without trailing zeros ("0.5231", never "0.52310000"). locked is the amount reserved by your open orders.
permissions	Always ["SPOT"].
settlement	Rocky extension. segment is wallet when the account is enrolled and on-chain settlement is active for the venue (balances mirror the party's wallet, fills settle as DvP with the fee withheld on chain, internal transfers and withdrawals disabled), else internal. enrolled mirrors that. frozen is the settlement-review kill switch (see Frozen accounts). party is the bound Canton party, null when none.

Differences from Binance

• No makerCommission / takerCommission / commissionRates, brokered, requireSelfTradePrevention, preventSor, uid fields.
• balances is a fixed asset list rather than "assets with non-zero balance"; there is no omitZeroBalances.
• canWithdraw / canDeposit are permanently false on this surface.
• settlement is a Rocky extension.
